Mandiri in Fest

FEB, UNPAK — Hundreds of Pakuan University (Unpak) students participated in the Mandiri in Fest 2022 activity with the frame "Invest Now, Secure Tomorrow" which was held at Graha Pakuan Siliwangi (GPS), 1st Floor, Thursday, September 29, 2022.

This Mandiri in Fest 2022 activity is one of the programs initiated by PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, in its implementation there is a 'knowledge sharing' session on financial and investment knowledge by inviting a number of speakers, including: Lecturer of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Unpak, Dr. Chaidir, M.M, FEB Unpak Alumni who currently serves as Priority Banking Manager at Bank Mandiri, Zaki Munajat, and Head of Jakarta Online Branch Mandiri Sekuritas, Rina Marina, CFP.

In addition to the workshop, there are a number of Unpak students who will participate in the 'Trading Competition' activity between students at a number of campuses.

These students will later compete with a number of teams from other campuses.

Deputy Regional Head of Bank Mandiri Region V, Aland Rinny Patitty, said, at its peak, an Investment Summit will be held in October, or the awarding of the winners of the Trading Competition. The winners will be awarded.

Trading Competition activities, each university can propose a number of teams to participate in these activities.

Each team consists of three people and will be carried out a number of provisions and training to develop the investment funds provided.

These participants will be trained in developing investment funds for three weeks. With that time, if there is a team that manages to develop the highest investment fund, that participant will qualify as the winner.

Also attending and opening the event, Unpak Chancellor, Pro. Dr. Ir. Didik Notosudjono, M.Sc., responded to the knowledge about investments given to students.

According to him, this is the result of collaboration with Bank Mandiri that can be learned from, all students can learn by application. That's when the 'link in match' process occurs. Even the knowledge gained can be applied in a number of other banks.

For the Trading Competition which students will participate in, the Chancellor said it is a form of cooperation, a form of implementation that provides opportunities for students to take part in competitions in the investment world, even at the national level.
