Improving Cooperation Relations, FEB Unpak and BUMDes Bogor

The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of Pakuan University (Unpak) held an internal meeting to discuss a number of problems faced by Village Owned Enterprises (BumDes).
The meeting was held in the Dean's Meeting Room, 2nd floor Gd. Prof. Dr. Eddy Mulyadi S. Faculty of Economics and Business, Pakuan University, Saturday, September 10, 2022.
The theme raised at this meeting was “A follow-up to the collaboration between the Faculty of Economics and Business, Pakuan University and BumDes in Kab. Bogor".
According to the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Pakuan University, Dr. Hendro Sasongko, Ak., MM., CA., this activity is a form of improving relations, evaluation, and collaboration between FEB Unpak through the BumDes Center for Forum Pusperal and Bogor Regency DPMD.
Dr. Hendro Sasongko, Ak., MM., CA., said that this activity will not only discuss the continuation of cooperation with BumDes – BumDes, but also the need to know more about and explore BumDes itself. So, what they need can be really right to run.
In line with that, the Head of DPMD Bp. Sapra Edi said that currently there are many BumDes – BumDes that are not running as they should.
So in this case, his party wants to be able to dive deeper in order to find out why this can happen, then there is a need for further communication with BumDes.
He said that through continuous monitoring and assistance, it is not impossible that BumDes will develop more rapidly in the future.
According to Permendesa PDT and Transmigration No. 4/2015, BUMDes has a goal to improve the village economy, increase community efforts in managing the economic potential of the village, develop business cooperation plans between villages and/or with third parties, create opportunities and market networks that support the public service needs of residents.
In addition, BUMDes also aims to create employment opportunities, improve community welfare through improving public services, growth and equity in the village economy, and increasing village community income and village original income.
BUMDes is a legal entity established by the village or together with villages to manage businesses, utilize assets, develop investment and productivity, provide services, and/or provide other types of businesses for the greatest welfare of the Village community.
Furthermore, BUMDes businesses are activities in the economic sector and/or public services that are managed independently by BUMDes.
