FEB Students Participate in Scientific Publication Writing Workshop

FEB, UNPAK — Students of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Pakuan University (Unpak) participated in the Scientific Publication Writing Workshop with the Research Institute Researcher which was held at the Accounting Building FEB, Friday, August 12, 2022.

This Scientific Publication Writing Workshop is a form of collaboration between the Faculty of Economics and Business with the Research Institute.

In the implementation, there were two sessions of events, namely the Workshop on Publication Writing for students and the Workshop on Qualitative Research for lecturers.

According to the Head of the FEB Scientific Work Publication and Partnership Office, Haqi Fadillah, S.E., M.Ak., BKP, CertDA, CAP, the activity was attended by students from Management, accounting and digital business study programs.

The purpose of holding this event is so that students can convert theses into scientific articles and publish them in journals. Later, students can publish at least in national journals.

These students were given education about procedures and tips in making scientific articles according to predetermined standards.

Haqi Fadillah said, after a student's thesis has become a scientific article, it will then be published in a journal and can be submitted correctly and can be published.

He said, later to take the graduation certificate, students are required to collect scientific articles in accordance with the thesis that has been made, then published in student online journals.

In addition, if they have a network related to journals, students are welcome to publish scientific articles where they want, as long as they have coordinated with the journal manager at FEB Unpak.

This activity is expected to increase students' insight regarding the writing of scientific articles and increase journal publications at Unpak, especially at FEB.

In this activity, also present as a resource person, the Director of the Research Institute of Mataram University, Dr. Ayudia Sokarina.
