The model of corporate governance has become a serious concern, after the financial crisis that destroyed economic fundamentals in the region of Asian countries, including Indonesia.

After implementing Good Corporate Governance, which is currently quite good, because of the responsibility to make organizational entities more open, thereby reducing friction or suspicion among the management because of the openness process in GCG and the company's performance will improve.

The turning point in implementing GCG in Indonesia occurred after the economic crisis in 1997, after the crisis, there was a very strong pressure from various sectors of Good Corporate Governance in Indonesia to improve it.

One institution that pays serious attention is the International Monetary Fund, which urges Indonesia to immediately improve the GCG of the banking sector in order to avoid further economic collapse, and to restore public confidence.

Budget is one of the tools so that GCG can synergize with management to predict the future state of society. So that makes the most important how in the future the Indonesian state uses assumptions if a threat occurs and how to deal with it.

As a large company that has started to implement this model, one of them is a State-Owned Enterprise which has been monitored and so that it can minimize corrupt behavior.

If everything is transparent, they will be afraid that they will take advantage of opportunities that people will do bad things, because there is continuous monitoring.
