FEB, UNPAK — Collaborating with Pakuan University (Unpak), PT Aseries Informix Technology Solutions (Nakama.id) encourages students to have more open insights in the world of business and the world of work.
With that, officially Unpak and PT Aseries Informix Solusi Teknologi signed an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) in the Rectorate Building, Floor 4, Unpak, Thursday, January 12 2023.
PT Aseries Informix Solusi Teknologi or Nakama.id is a listing platform between startups and investors who collaborate with many ecosystem builders, mentors and trainers who have the best qualifications to support and help develop various businesses.
The company makes it easy for startups to network with fellow founders and entrepreneurs, as well as technology activists.
Therefore, the collaboration between Unpak and the company can be used as an opportunity for students to gain a lot of experience and hone various skills in the business world.
Director of Operations, PT Aseries Informix Technology Solutions, Ernest Theodore, said that this collaboration was established with the aim of broadening the insights of students.
"So I want students who have entered the final stage, they know after graduation what they want to be, do they want to be entrepreneurs, do business or want to work," said Theo, his nickname.
With this collaboration, continued Theo, his party wants to widely introduce the world of work and business through its programs.
"What is the world of work like, what is the world of business like, those who want to enter the world of work we have a curriculum in that direction, or if you want to become a business person we can direct it there. We are only bridging, what do the students want again? We will try to fulfill it ," Theo explained.
Theo said, various start-ups or worlds related to technology, ranging from full digital, semi-digital, and conventional technology, can join PT Aseries Informix Technology Solutions.
"If you want to enter big start-up companies, we will try to bring them (students) into the ecosystem. So they know how it works like that, meaning students must prepare themselves to meet these criteria," he said.
Furthermore, Theo added, that he and his team had no doubts about Unpak's ability to equip its students to enter the world of work. However, according to Theo, now students have to practice more to master various skills.
"Unpak has provided a very, very good academic curriculum, we call that hard skills. So we are trying to add to the soft skills, so that they are ready and multitalented in various fields," added Theo.
In addition, at the company there are a number of Unpak students who have actively joined the internal program, not just working, these students are encouraged to broaden their horizons about the ecosystem in the company.
With the establishment of this collaboration, the Chancellor of Unpak, Prof. Didik Notosudjono also welcomed the agreed collaboration.
Because the Chancellor wants Unpak students to get to know insights and dynamics in the industrial world, especially companies engaged in the world of technology.
